Maxi Yachts Rolex Cup 2015

Maxi Yachts Rolex Cup 2015

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup & Rolex Maxi 72 World Championship, Porto Cervo |Costa Smeralda | from 06/09 to 12/09

THE COSTA SMERALDA PROVIDES A STUNNING SETTING AND A VARIETY OF GREAT, CHALLENGING CONDITIONS FOR THE MAXI YACHT ROLEX CUP, ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN YACHTING SEASON. THE FIRST EVER MAXI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP HELD IN SARDINIA IN 1980 WAS THE BRAINCHILD OF THE YACHT CLUB COSTA SMERALDA AND IT’S PRESIDENT, THE AGA KHAN. THE REGATTA IS NOW AN EAGERLY ANTICIPATED ANNUAL EVENT AND ATTRACTS A SIZEABLE FLEET OF MAJESTIC MAXI YACHTS TO PORTO CERVO EACH SEPTEMBER. 2015 MARKS THE 26TH EDITION OF THE COMPETITION WHICH COMPRISES THE SIXTH RUNNING OF THE MUCH-VAUNTED MAXI 72 ROLEX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Capo Testa, Santa Teresa di Gallura,  with its Valle Della Luna, is an amazing place to visit. I’ve been  there plenty times, but this one in particular I’ve decided to spend few hours from sunset.
